Former superstar Sridevi may play an important role in Producer C Ashwini Dutt`s next, starring Jr NTR and Ileana in the lead.
Mehar Ramesh, who has directed superhits in NTR`s `Kantri` and Prabhas starrer `Billa`, willl wield the megaphone. The film has been tentatively titled `Shakthi`.
Sridevi, if she agrees to sign the film, will play the hero`s mother-in-law. If the producer succeeds in getting her for the role, that would be the casting coup of the decade in Tollywood. Sri`s last release in Telugu was in 1994 (`SP Parasuram`).
Vyjayanthi Movies banner makes this film at a budget of Rs 40 crore. The shooting will be held in over 14 countries. The film is expected to commence in January.
