Komal opts out of `Director`s Special`

Just a week after director Guru Prasad addressed a press meet to announce his `Director`s Special` with him in the lead, Komal has decided to opt out of the film; he says he had found the film and the role beyond his abilities.

Komal says though he is very much comfortable with humour, he is scared of satire.
"I was even offered `Kallara Santhe`. But I did not want to do because it was a political satire. `Director`s Special` is also a satire and I think the concept and canvas of the film is huge and beyond my capacity. I found the one line of the film very interesting, but when I heard the screenplay, I realised that I would be unable to do it," said Komal.
Komal also says that it is better to opt out the project before it begins rather than complaining after everything is out. He says that it purely his decision to opt out of the project and there was no pressure from anyone.
