Amal Neerad, the cameraman-turned-director who made waves in Mollywood with his stylish films, has made it clear that he will not be remaking any Malayalam movie for his debut in Tamil.
Earlier, there were reports that he will be remaking Mammootty`s `Mrigaya` into Tamil with Suriya in the lead.
Amal said that he will be doing a film with Suriya in 2010. The film will have a completely new story and Suriya, a very special role. The film will go on floors by 2010 end, he said.
Currently, the young director is making a film with Prithviraj in the lead. Suriya has two films to complete before he can start working on the Neerad film.
